I am a fourth year vet student at Auburn University, Class of 2018. I started my journey in Eufaula, Alabama and have known that I wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 10. I did my undergrad at Auburn where I received my Bachelors of Science in animal sciences. I completed this degree in just three years. I hope to be placed in an internship program and then a surgical or emergency and critical care residency upon earning my DVM.

I hope to move out west after graduation and am actively seeking employment in Denver, CO or surrounding areas.

My veterinary interest include emergency and critical care, pain management, behavior medicine and surgery. I understand that communication is part of what makes a great veterinarian and it is a skill that I strive to improve daily. I feel that because of this desire to be a great communicator, it is one of my greatest strengths. My others personal strengths include: leadership, time management, dedication, loyalty, and willingness to work as a team. I hope to find a practice that will allow me to have a strong mentor relationship so that I may improve my veterinary and business skills.
